Being a natural landscape, Yen Tu still preserves many historical sites with the name "land of Buddhism in Vietnam". Yen Tu Mountain is a mountain of Dong Trieu bow arch in Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province. At the top of the mountain, it is often covered with clouds, so people also call it Bai Van Son. Yen Tu forest is famous for its spectacular scenery and is known as one of the most beautiful landscapes in Vietnam. At the top of sacred mountain Yen Tu also has a historical area with ancient temples and ancient trees. Yen Tu also became the center of Buddhism since King Tran Nhan Tong abandoned the throne, cultivated and established a Buddhist sect called Truc Lam Yen Tu.

Seven hundred years ago, following the victory over the Mongol invaders, King Tran Nhan Tong had to give up the throne to his son to Yen Tu religious life, studying the Buddhist doctrine, linking with the philosophy of humanity. A visit to Yen Tu starts at the Giai Oan stream with a green stone bridge linking the two banks of the stream. The bridge is 10 m long, architectural harmony with the surrounding natural environment, not too complex but hovering with old beauty, solid. Next is Hoa Yen Pagoda with ancient trees which was said tobe planted by King Tran Nhan Tong when moving to Yen Tu. The new pagoda is decorated in Tran-Le style, the type of "foreign homeland", surrounded by horizontal houses, vertical line serving the ceremony and residence of abbot and monk.

Dong Pagoda is the highest stop of visitors. It was built in the post-Le dynasty with the name "Thien Truc Tu". Dong pagoda is cast entirely in pure copper 3m high, 12m2 wide and weighs 60 tons. Since 2010, Dong Chua area has started and inaugurated bronze statue of Buddha Tran Nhan Tong sitting on the pedestal made of reinforced concrete stone sculpture. The statue is higher than 3m, the lotus is 2m high, the bronze statue is 9.9m high, was built on the land area of 200m2 including statue area, ceremonial yard, An Ky Sinh statue, and many others.

The road up to Dong Pagoda is quite difficult to climb and difficult to go, in the past, It takes visitors five to six hours to get to the place. The head station lasts over 1.2km up to the height of 450m near Hoa Yen Pagoda and the second station from Hoa Yen Pagoda up to Dong Pagoda. With this cable car system, visitors can admire the entire landscape of Yen Tu mountain from the top with the trees, hundreds of years old trees interwoven in the green trees and breathe fresh air.


The road has also been built with stone steps with a banister and a system of lamp posts from the bottom of the mountain up to Dong Pagoda to serve domestic and foreign visitors to Yen Tu, Buddha and visit .

At the beginning of the festival, visitors can admire the ancient sculptures of the Tran Dynasty with historical relics, priceless landscapes, There is no joy at all.
